Social Commitment

Grupo Ferlos main commitment to society within its Corporative Social Responsibility polices is to perform its business in a responsible and efficient way as members of the Granadian community who promote improvements in the area, generating and contributing to its socioeconomic development.

Part of its commitment is fulfilled by the support given to social, cultural and sporting initiatives, carrying out actions which help to fulfill the social needs of the communities involved.

In this sense, Grupo Ferlo has participated in projects of a social nature and maintains its involvement in reintegration projects such as the Proyecto Hombre (a project for the prevention and treatment of drug dependencies), or by signing collaboration agreements with different town councils.

Particularly worthy of note within the sporting sphere is Grupo Ferlos commitment to sports teams and clubs, as well as to the capitals most important clubs, and to everything that favours social integration.

The Environment

At Grupo Ferlo, the concept of sustainable development is applied in a practical way, adapting it to the different activities of the corporation. The different divisions of the firm reaffirm this ideal through their commitments which guide the actions of their employees, with the aim of making this daily compromise a reality.

The use of the latest technologies in construction material, as well as the adherence to all regulations that guarantee the quality and safety of its work and its employees, has been one of the priorities in the companies of the group, incorporating AENOR-certified Quality Assurance and Environmental departments into their organizational structures. (AENOR is the Spanish association for standardization and certification).
